Swansea - Zachary C. Borges, age 16, passed away unexpectedly on July 11 ^th .  He was the son of Kayla Silva and Nathan Borges.

He attended Case and Middleborough High School, and in his free time he loved playing videogames with his friends, watching the Patriots and he was a talented artist and was always drawing his favorite anime characters.  He was very energetic, kind and always helped others. Zachary enjoyed playing football, he was a Falcon most of his life before playing for Case Highschool, when Zachary wasn't playing football on the field, he was playing football in the back yard with his little brother and sister, Ryan and Jordyn. Zachary also enjoyed basketball, going on walks to the beach, riding his bike and playing with his dog Zeus. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, he was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew and friend and he will be deeply missed.

Zachary is survived by his parents; Kayla Silva and her husband Manuel Silva Jr., Nathan Borges and his wife Brittny; his grandparents; Rita Conlon, Wardell Braxton, Natalie DeSousa, Manuel and Mary Silva; his siblings; Jordyn, Ryan, Lilly, Landon, Lila and Laney, his Uncle Roger Conlon, Aunt Kaitlin Conlon, Uncle William Andrade, Uncle Justin Borges as well as many cousins including Skyla, Kiley, Evey, Cameron, Jameson and many friends.  Zachary is predeceased by his great grandparents; Richard and Rita Conlon.

All are invited to attend a visitation for Zach on Thursday July 21, 2022, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N Main St. Fall River, MA 02720. Zachary's funeral will be held at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Zach at Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 South Main Street, Fall River, MA 02721 on July 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Zach will be laid to rest in Pocasset Hill Cemetery in Tiverton. A celebration of Zachary will continue for family and friends at Sagres Restaurant, 177 Columbia Street, Fall River, MA 02721 immediately following the interment at Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
